Responsive Writing with Claire Collison
How do words influence pictures - and how do images impact on language? What stories do photographs tell - and what secrets do they keep? And how can we begin to put into words our feelings about events we have not personally experienced?
This one-day creative writing workshop will take its inspiration from the Sublime Image of Destruction exhibition. Using a variety of practical exercises and working closely with the photographs on display, we will explore a range of ways that photography can be used to trigger your own writing.
